What kind of leather do you use?


All of our leather comes with the highest quality guarantee. From the materials, tools, and overall development process, we pride ourselves on our quality and craftsmanship in every aspect of our products.




What is your turnaround time?


Due to the custom nature of each piece, our turnaround time varies from 7-10 business days. We would rather take the time to create a lasting product, than rush production and decrease quality.




Do you offer different shipping options?


Our most common shipping method is UPS Priority 2 day shipping. If you need a faster option, it will incur an additional fee and require communicating directly with Roughside Leather for arrangements. We currently do not offer a faster shipping method as default during our checkout process. Please reference our contact page to inquire more.




I am allergic to certain oils, what oil is used on your products?


Neatsfoot oil is what we prefer to use on our products, because it offers so many benefits to the care/ durability of the leather. If you are allergic to Neatsfoot oil, other options may be available and we would be happy to talk with you concerning your specific needs. Please reach out to us via our contact page. How do I care for my leather product once it arrives?


There are many different care options available, but simply put, proper storage and occasionally oiling your product will keep the item from drying / cracking / aging. When your product is not in use, store it in a safe dry place free of the elements. Your product does comes pre-oiled and should not require any additional oil for 60-90 days, dependent on the amount of use.
